Welcome to Area 2257, an adult village at Burning Man.

We take our name from the frequently misapplied federal statute, Article 2257.  It's original intent was actually quite good, to keep minors out of the adult entertainment industry.  Area 2257 thinks that  those divisions of adults and minors are sometimes good.   No children camp in this village, and we would like it to be regarded as adult space, and that you make conscientious choices about yourself and others while you visit.

We are a full village, a little adult city, with healing and bars and raves and chill spaces and wedding chapels and and firefirefire and the nicest burnery people you will ever meet.  And more camps are joining us!
